Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

Our promise. myhandlers is built privacy-first. When the product launches, your personal data is anonymised before it ever reaches an AI model, encrypted in transit and at rest, and kept on backends you can host yourself. This page explains what that means in practice and how we handle the limited data you share with us today.

1. Who we are

myhandlers (“we”, “us”) is the data controller responsible for your personal data within the meaning of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Controller: myhandlers, operated by Ayush Bhatt (data controller), of 72 Squirrels Heath Lane, RM112DZ, UK. You can reach our data-protection contact at hello@myhandlers.com.

2. What personal data we collect

This website is in its early “coming soon” phase. We deliberately collect the minimum:

We do not collect special-category (sensitive) data via this website, and you should not include any in the registration form.

3. How we use it

We will never sell your personal data, and we do not use it to profile you for advertising.

We process your email and name on the legal basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR) — you give this when you submit the registration form. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights); withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.

We may also rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for limited, necessary activities such as keeping server logs for security and responding to your messages.

5. AI & how your data is protected

myhandlers' differentiator is how it protects you when AI is involved. When the product launches:

For the avoidance of doubt: the email you register on this website today is not sent to any language model. It is simply stored securely so we can invite you to the alpha.

6. Sharing & sub-processors

We share your data only with service providers (sub-processors) that help us operate the site, under written terms requiring them to keep it secure and process it only on our instructions. For this early site these may include our hosting and database providers. We will keep an up-to-date list of sub-processors available on request.

We will disclose data if required to do so by law (for example, a valid court order or request from a lawful authority), or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

7. International data transfers

Your data is hosted on infrastructure located in the United Kingdom, and we do not transfer it outside the UK. If that ever changes (for example, because we add a non-UK hosting provider), we will update this policy and rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK GDPR's adequacy regulations — before any transfer occurs.

8. How long we keep it

If you would like your details removed sooner, email hello@myhandlers.com.

9. Security

We protect your data with measures appropriate to its sensitivity: encryption in transit (TLS) for data moving between your browser and our services, and encryption at rest for sensitive stored values, plus access controls and monitored hosting. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to meet the security requirements of the UK GDPR (Article 32).

10. Cookies & analytics

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. Strictly-necessary cookies (if any are added for security in future) do not require consent. If we introduce optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this section.

11. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@myhandlers.com. We will respond within one month (we may extend this by two months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you why).

12. Children

myhandlers is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as myhandlers develops. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are significant, notify you (for example, by email if you're on the alpha list).

14. Contact & complaints

Questions or requests about your data? Email hello@myhandlers.com.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's data-protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), if you believe we have not handled your data properly: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113, or write to ICO, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
